         Zara and her friend though the'd solved the pixie problem. And they did - sort of. The pixies are all locked away, deep in the woods. But the king's needs grow stronger each day that he is in captivity, while his control over his people weakens. And it;s enough to draw a new king into town. Astley claims he's different. He claims there are pixies who can live peacefully with humans, that doesnt have to be violence and nastiness all the time. Zara wants to believe him . . . until Astley also claims that she is fated to be his queen.
     There is no way zara would ever turn pixie. And she's got good friends who will make sure of that. Besides, she and Nick are so in love they're practically inseparable. But when the very thing Zra wants to protect most is exactly what's at risk, she is forced to make choices she never imagined. . . .



     Captivate was extremly captivating especially since I had to wait about 3 weeks to buy it, so that made me read through it without stoping. When Devyn was at school with the braces instead of the wheelchair I almost shed a tear or two, I was so happy. Zaras car accident scared me I thought she was going to die right then and there, but she didn't because Astley came and saved her as best he could with being a pixie and all. I'm still a bit confused onh what a Valkyrie is but hopefully I can clear that up in ENTICE, when I get around to buying it in paperback.

     Nick, oh poor Nick I love his character he's so nice and wolfy which is awesome. I was in tears after the pixie king said, "It pleases me more to leave you here watching your wolf die." Thats so mean. I was so sure he was going to die, Thank god for the Valkyrie and Valhalla, if he even gets to come back.
Cassidy is an ELF, part FAE! Thats beyond amazing I love them.
    
      When Astley and Zara where going up to his room to "pixie kiss" I thought that they were going to go to jail but then Zara said "RUN!" haha. After she turned pixie, the description of that the room looked like reminded me of the part in "Breaking Dawn" when they went on there honeymoon.

      I don't know if I'm team Astley or team nick at the moment, that's a hard choice. Hope to decide in ENTICE.

Note: I'm hopeing to buy Entice soon but I'm trying to find it in paperback so the whole series is the same.
