Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler (Spoilers)

When I was reading this book my friend was with me and I made it so that I was Anne and Frankie was her. So like role playing is the way you could look at it. It was fun to do but I almost cried when her brother died. And the way he died was unbelieveable and a bit cheesy. I mean ice cream splashed the window, slam on the brakes to stop an accident from happending. Anyways death is always hard to get over but it seemed to ease away as you read and you can tell. I didn't think they were going to go through with the whole deal they made before they're vaction. But I was wrong, sort of. She messed around with a few guys but it wasn't anything serious. Sam was a summer fling and she knew that, but she still wanted her first time with him to be special, who doesn't? The ending of the friendship between Anne and Frankie ripped my heart out. I wouldn't have throw Annes notebook into the ocean to be lost forever. And Frankie lied to Anne about her viginity being gone, to make herself look better and experienced. All secrets came out in the end.
