Nightshade by Andrea Cremer - Review

Nightshade

Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountian School, she'll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers.
But when she violates her masters' laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known.
By following her heart, she might lose everything- including her own life.
Is forbidden love worth the ulitmate sacrifice?

Nightshade is one of my favorite books right now. I couldn't put it down, like legit. My mother would come in my room to talk to me and I would block her out, because I was so into the book.

Something I really enjoyed and kept me reading was that I could picture everything, it was as if I was in a movie theater watching it instead of reading it.
Note: If you haven't read this book I wouldn't keep reading I might give a spoiler.

Where to begin, the main charater Calla Tor is in a tug-o-war situation between lovers. She also is supposed to be getting married. If I was in her situation I don't know who or what I would choose. I like Ren because he can be sweet when he wants to, but I also like Shay.

I was shocked when Ren asked that they start the combining of the packs early so it wouldn't be so hard, but it was understanding. It was an easy read, but still enjoyable.

I freaked out when she got bitten by the spider in the cave. But in a way I knew she wasn't going to die because the book had to go on, right? I kept saying to myself, "Pick her up, carry her out of the cave, to your car, and take her to a packmate!" Somehow I was happy and excited when she changed him though. I knew that she also had to marry Ren but since Shay was a wolf now I thought she could choose who she wanted to be with.

Ansel and Bryn are lucky for right now, until Logan changes the arrangments. I hope they get to stay together though in "Wolfsbane".

I think that anyone who hasn't read this book should. If they don't like it thats their opinion, but I don't think anyone would.
Can't wait to get "Wolfsbane" and continue into these novels.

Love & Rockets,
